I didn’t plan for lemons and I don’t want to make lemonade. We all have been told when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Life produces its own drama series with intricate plots and we can’t yell cut. The car breaks down, we get sick, and lose our job. If it’s not one thing it’s another, no lemons, not today, no thank you.
I didn’t plan for the course my life has taken, you probably feel the same way. You have your heart set on something, but don’t get it. The plan you executed failed to be fruitful and crashed and burned.
I had really wanted something recently and went after it twice , but I didn’t get it. I really felt like having a pity party. My confidence was really shaken and I felt a little hopeless. So, I had my brief moment and kept moving forward.
Sometimes, l will have a brief pity party but I’m reminded to be thankful for the blessings l have. I have to remember God is still in control and He has plans for me. It doesn’t mean, I won’t be faced with situations that bring me to my knees, or get sad when things don’t work out the way I planned it. However, I have to have my brief moment and keep pressing on. Life will be filled with many successes and failures, but never give up!
