Seasonal Inspired Pre-Workout Makeover

The weather in Texas has been very confusing, but it’s getting cooler. I miss the Midwest winters with snow. In Texas, I can still wear sweaters, cozy up with a holiday themed book and drink tea.

The feel of the holiday season, coupled with comfort food, and family really add a sense of peace and comfort during this time of the year.

I love drinking warm beverages and decided to experiment with making my pre-workout taste like the flavors of the holidays. The drink itself should be served cold and shouldn’t be heated.

You will need the following ingredients

  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • Sugar free creamer (my top 3 flavors, peppermint, hazelnut,pumpkin spice)
  • Amino energy iced vanilla cafe

I use a blender bottle and only measure for Amino Energy and the coffee creamer.

Generally, I fill my blender bottle with half water and half milk. Depending on my workout intensity, I use between 2-4 scoops plus 3-4 tablespoons of hazelnut or peppermint creamer.

You shake serve chilled and enjoy!
