“Out of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.”
― Mark Twain
I don’t know about you, but the same 24 hours in a day seem to be shorter. There’s more to do and accomplish than ever. However, doing them with any type of illness coupled with the demands of life can be quite challenging. For example, if you’re like me and have a thyroid condition, your levels being off you have you experiencing mental fogginess, thus making it even harder to function. You seem forgetful at times, so how does one overcome those obstacles. Well, here are 5 tips for staying up on top of things.

4 Tips to Stay Up on Top of Things
- Write it down in multiple places
Write down what you need to get done in multiple places and in a variety of sources (journal, planner, sticky note, on the fridge) This will increase the chances of you remembering them.
2. Set an Alarm in your phone Using Google Calendar
Add events and task to your Google Calendar and set a reminder using minutes or days in advance.
3. Set aside time to plan
This is an important part of the process and should be done first thing in the morning or whenever you are at your best.
4. Analyze your typical schedule
What does my typical week look like? What can I eliminate? What do I need to find the time for? What thing can I do more efficiently to save some time? How can I add me time to my day? What days work best for grocery shopping or cleaning my house?
4. Prepare
Select a time to cook your meals and pick out your clothes for the week.
